The adhesive is designed to stick to clothing, not to skin.
This warmer is perfectly suited to using above or below the toes and forefoot.
You can most easily position the warmer by sticking it to your socks, allowing you to hit the right spot easily.
You can also adhere the adhesive to the inside of the shoe if required, but this is sometimes fiddly to position correctly, particularly in tighter fitting or tall footwear.
